Terms & Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions carefully as they form a legally binding contract.

Studio Terms and Conditions

Recording Services

- To book a session, the client must provide all details requested either on the relevant booking form or directly via email.

- All studio recording time is payable by the hour.

- Post-session editing, mixing and mastering is charged per track.

- Clients, who intend to use their mastered cover recordings for commercial use, are responsible for obtaining the correct licensing to do so and must provide their own backing tracks, where applicable.

- Clients, who intend to use their mastered cover recordings for personal use only, will be able to request backing track provision from us, free of charge.


Music Production

All parties must mutually agree upon the terms of collaboration, copyright ownership, and royalty distribution prior to the release, publication, or dissemination of any project-related material in any form.

One2One Recording Ltd must be credited as 'The Producer' in all public uses of the project, including releases, streaming platforms, social media, and promotional materials.


Photographic Services

- Clients are free to use all complimentary and purchased images however they may please.

- Our hair and makeup artists must be informed of any allergies/sensitivities to cosmetic products in advance.



Parties


- Full payment is required in advance to secure a booking.

- The maximum number of attendees will be confirmed at the time of booking and must not be exceeded.

- To book an adults' recording party, all guests must be aged 18 or over. 

- The party organiser is responsible for ensuring that all guests behave in a respectful and responsible manner while on the premises.

- It is the responsibility of the party organiser to inform One2One Recording Ltd of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements prior to the event. We aim to accommodate individual needs wherever possible but cannot accept liability for undisclosed information.

- If parents or guardians choose to leave the premises during a children’s party, One2One Recording Ltd must be provided with up-to-date contact details for the parent or guardian of each child attending. These details must be supplied prior to the booking date to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

- Finished products are for personal use only.



Studio Hire

- All studio hires must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

- Bookings are only confirmed once full payment has been received.

- The hirer must provide accurate information about the nature of the hire.


- The hirer is responsible for ensuring the studio is used safely and in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.


- It is recommended that the hirer holds appropriate insurance to cover public liability and any potential damage during the hire period.



Referral Discount Policy

Clients who refer a friend to book their first session with us are eligible for a referral discount. Both the referring client and the new client will receive 20% off their next session. To apply the discount, the new client must provide the referring client’s name at the time of booking. The discount will be applied once the referred client’s session is confirmed.

- In the event that you have been referred by another individual, you must clearly state the referrer’s name on the applicable booking form or via email at the time of enquiry.

- In the event that you have referred a peer, their full name must be submitted either on the relevant booking form or by email at the time of your subsequent booking with us.


Cancellation and Refund Policy


This policy applies only to services for which payment has been made in advance of the booking.

All cancellations must be notified in writing. Refunds will be provided according to the following terms:

- More than 14 days’ notice: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the booking date are eligible for a full refund of the payment.

- Less than 14 days’ notice: Cancellations made less than 14 days before the booking date are eligible for a 50% refund of the payment.

- Less than 48 hours’ notice: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking date are not eligible for a refund.

In the unlikely event that One2One Recording Ltd is unable to complete a booking due to reasons beyond our control, we will endeavour to give the client as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date. If the alternative date is not suitable, the client will be entitled to a full refund of their payment.


You understand that:


- One2One Recording Ltd reserve the right to use any audio/images/videos taken for their own advertising purposes including (but not limited to) websites, social media and prints used in the studio. If any clients/guests would prefer their material NOT to be used in this manner, please inform us at the time of booking.

- Finished products are non-refundable.


- Clients and guests are expected to respect the studio and all studio equipment.

- The client will be liable for any loss or damage to
One2One Recording Ltd material or property caused by them or those they are responsible for.

- One2One Recording Ltd are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during the hire period, except where caused by the studio’s negligence.

- In the event of any damage and/or unruly, unsafe or threatening behaviour from any client or guest, One2One Recording Ltd are entitled to cease the booking with the client remaining fully liable for their payment.

- One2One Recording Ltd shall be entitled, at its discretion, to immediately terminate the booking and the provision of services in the event that the client becomes a prohibited person or engages in any unlawful business.

- Under no circumstances shall One2One Recording Ltd be required to take any action which they consider unlawful, improper or which, in their opinion, may incur any liability. 

- No illegal, hazardous, or offensive activities may take place on the premises.

- We are not responsible for the clients' parked vehicles or personal belongings.


Agency Terms and Conditions


Booking Terms and Conditions Definitions and Interpretation

“Us” – One2One Recording Ltd trading as One2One Agency

“You” – the client booking the act through One2One Agency

“The Act” – the performers who are to be booked for the Engagement

“The Engagement” – the event detailed for the booking

“The Booking” – the arrangements for the Engagement agreed between you and One2One Agency

“Booking Contract” – the booking agreement between you and One2One Agency

“Booking Fee” - the full payment received by One2One Agency, from you, prior to the engagement

“Force Majeure Event” – any extraordinary event or extraordinary circumstance beyond either the Client's control or the Act’s control 


Securing the Booking

- To initiate the booking, you will receive a booking contract from One2One Agency. By signing the contract, you will be deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions. 
- You will receive an invoice for the booking fee once the booking contract has been signed by you. 
- Full payment of the booking fee to One2One Agency is required upfront, by you, to secure a booking. 
- This payment will be expected within 14 days of you receiving your invoice or before the engagement (this applies to late bookings).


The Act's Responsibilities

The acts that we feature on our web site perform to a good professional standard and the act is responsible for ensuring that all act members perform the engagement to a similar standard, act politely and be suitably dressed during their performance. The act will provide all equipment suitable for the engagement and will hold Public Liability Insurance and all appropriate PAT certificates for any electrical equipment brought to the venue.


Your Responsibilities

Unless otherwise agreed with us, you have agreed to be responsible for all matters in connection with the venue and as set out below.

You will be responsible for ensuring:

- The venue can provide a safe and appropriate working environment for the act.
- You provide all entertainment for the event other than the booked act.
- A suitable electrical supply meeting or exceeding British Standards is provided within five metres of the performance area.
- The venue is capable of accommodating the act’s performance in all respects, including possessing appropriate permits/licenses and taking into account any sound restrictions. This also includes provision of a piano, in good playing condition, if applicable. If non-performance results due to the venue's restrictions, you will not be entitled to a refund.
- The venue is appropriate for the setting up and loading in equipment. 
- Free parking is available within 50 metres of the performance area for unloading purposes. You will be liable for any parking charges.
- Adequate supervision and/or security is provided for the duration of time the act is booked to be at the venue.
- The act’s equipment is not available for use by other people.
- One2One Agency is updated on any information which directly or indirectly affects the booking.



You understand that:

- We have no obligation or liability under the contract other than to administer your booking and pass the booking details onto the act in a timely manner.
- We have no liability for anything done, or not done by the act.
- We do not warrant, guarantee or undertake on behalf of any third party supplier or service provider that access to any facilities or any products or services will be uninterrupted or of any particular level of availability or quality.

- Unless specifically requested otherwise, One2One Agency and the act reserve the right to use any footage, of those over the age of 16, for their own advertising purposes including (but not limited to) websites, social media and prints.
- You will be liable for any damage to One2One material, One2One property or the act's property caused by you or any guests at the engagement.
- In the event of unruly or threatening behaviour from any person, the act is entitled to cease the performance and you will not be refunded.
- One2One Agency shall be entitled at its discretion to immediately terminate the booking and the provision of services in the event that the client becomes a prohibited person or engages in any unlawful business.
- Under no circumstances shall One2One be required to take any action which they consider unlawful, improper or which, in their opinion, may incur any liability.
- The client must keep One2One fully indemnified from and against any loss, claim, damage, expense or liability whatsoever incurred or suffered by One2One as a result of negligence by the client or those associated.
- No waiver of any breach of the contract shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.


Changes to the Performance and Engagement Date

The act will take all reasonable measures to ensure that the performance at the engagement runs to any agreed schedule. If on the day of the engagement, you want to make changes to the performance then this will need to be agreed with the act.The act will reasonably accommodate any schedule/performance changes, requested by you/someone with the authority to do so. You acknowledge that the engagement has been booked for a specific date as stated on the booking contract. You'Il be deemed to have cancelled the engagement if you require a change to the engagement date and the act is unavailable on the new date.


Cancellation of the Engagement

If you wish to cancel the engagement, you must give us at least 14 days’ notice to receive a full refund of your payment. You will be entitled to a 50% refund of your payment if cancellation is requested between 14 days and 48 hours of the engagement date. You will not be entitled to any refund of your payment if notice is given less than 48 hours before the beginning of the engagement. If you have not paid or have made no attempt to pay the booking fee within 14 days of us sending you the invoice or before the engagement date, you will be deemed to have cancelled the booking and One2One Agency will have no obligation to provide any products or services.In the unlikely event of cancellation by the act, you will receive a full refund of your payment.

Cancellation because of Force Majeure

If a force majeure event occurs, then either you or the act are entitled to cancel the engagement providing you give us notice (if you cancel) or we give you notice (if the act cancels) within 24 hours of the event first occurring. If the engagement is cancelled due to a force majeure event, then both you and the act have no further liability or obligation under the contract. Under these circumstances, the booking fee will be fully refunded.


Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint, as a condition precedent to any compensation claim, you must email One2One Agency with all complaint details, within 48 hours of the engagement taking place. Whilst we are not responsible for any non-fulfilment of the contract from you or the act we will, in the first instance, attempt to mediate in good faith with the intention of reaching a satisfactory outcome to your complaint.

We are not liable for any of the following:

- Loss of revenue or anticipated profits
- Loss of data
- Loss of business
- Loss of opportunity
- Loss of goodwill or injury to reputation
- Losses suffered by third parties
